
Datasets
There are six layers in DCW China Set: roads, railroads, drainage system, contours, populated places, and urbanized areas. The following provides a brief description of the contents of each of these layers, together with the coverage names. The coverage names in parentheses are coresponding layers in the DCW_PLUS sub-set. Information regarding file size and format follows.
Layer 1.

Feature class type: Line
This layer has one attribute item:
VAL -- elevation value of the contour line, expressed as feet above mean sea level.
Note: There are some areas where no data were available.
They appear blank on the map.
Contours are broken at the edges of these areas.
